Steve,
One of the Key factors for keeping Health Insurance premiums low is being in good health. I can’t stress this enough…maintaining a good health regimen to keep one self in tip top shape will enable you to raise your Health Insurance deductibles to a much higher rate. You will be in the doctors office a lot less so this keep more in your pocket.

Cheers,

Question:

With all that has gone on with our economy here in the United States over the past year…Will Health Insurance Rates go up?

Sam

Bolder, Colorado

Answer:

Great question Sam. I am confident in the fact that Health care as we know it will change with the New Presidential Administration coming in in 2009. Changes are already taking place. Initially I do think that Health Insurance premiums will go up. With the financial crisis that is raging currently the ripple effect has not stopped and it effects will be felt across the world. This being said I do believe the market will adjust quickly and Health Insurance Premiums will drop accordingly. Our new president wants to reform the Health Care Industry as we know it. This can only help. There are Great Health Insurance companies ready to get you the best, cheapest rate possible.

Things to help reduce your rate is:

Don’t Smoke

Workout regularly

Eat more fruits and vegetables that Dairy and meat

This will put you in a position to go with a higher deductible and in the doctors office a lot less since you are being proactive about your health. This will surely lower you Health Insurance Rate!

Enjoy…

David
